Objective and Scope

The Interdisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Research in Information and Communication (IJCRIC) is a peer-reviewed international publication published in collaboration with Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria, by Optimistic Concept Publishers. The journal is released three times annually, specifically in April, August, and December.


Mission and Focus

The primary aim of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Research in Information and Communication (IJCRIC) is to establish a collaborative platform for the exchange of knowledge among researchers, academics, professionals, practitioners, and graduate students. This platform facilitates the dissemination of valuable insights through a diverse range of contributions, including top-notch empirical and theoretical research papers, case studies, literature reviews, and book reviews. The journal welcomes and recognizes outstanding, original theoretical and empirical research, as well as case studies, review papers, literature reviews, book reviews, conceptual frameworks, analytical and simulation models, and technical notes, submitted by scholars, educators, professionals, practitioners, and students from across the global academic community.

The Interdisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Research in Information and Communication (IJCRIC) is published in both physical print and online formats. The journal showcases research contributions spanning various domains, including but not limited to library and information science, journalism and mass communication, book publishing, computer studies and technology journalism, electronic media, TV and radio broadcasting, intercultural and multi-linguistic communications, politics, public and international relations, performing arts, speech and rhetoric, business administration, industrial relations, corporate communications, marketing, advertising, and public relations.
